We are currently working with Serena to build a cottage. After doing months of research on different builders, we decided to go with Serena at Discovery Dream Homes. Her attention and focus on us was unmatched and we felt valued immediately even with a smaller budget. Serena came to our vacant lot multiple times during the design phase to get a better understanding of the land and planning of the cottage. She was able to ensure our cottage was properly situated on our lot in order to get the best views and exposure. During the interior design part of the process, Serena helped us pick out colours and finishes that matched our design style. We never felt rushed or pressured to go over budget or pick something we didn’t feel comfortable with. Overall, we are very happy with our experience with Serena. She always gets back to us immediately and we have maintained great communication throughout the entire project.

Having a log cottage on a quiet picturesque lake in the Algonquin region has always been a dream of mine. I want to thank Gary, Ted & everyone at Discovery for making my dream a reality. It’s great when things go better than expected, and I even made a few friends along the way.

Ten years ago, I saw a picture of Discovery Dream Homes Okanagan cottage plan! I fell in love with the design and hoped that one day it would be ours! 10 years later we are working with Serena to make our dream come true! From the first phone call with Serena, we knew we had made the right choice. Through the initial planning stage to colour choices to signing the final contract she has been there with us every step of the way. She made the process so comfortable that we never doubted the decision we made. We are excited to be breaking ground soon but even more excited to know that Serena will be with us every step of the way! Kirk was one of the top design consultants at Discovery Dream Homes when we worked together. He was always ready to follow the best course of action for his customers even if it was not always in his personal best interest.
